The Last to Escape the Scrapyard

Great Western Railway 4575 Class Small Prairie 2-6-2 Tank No 5553 was the last engine to be brought out of Woodham's Scrapyard at Barry in 1990. Here it is now fully restored at Minehead Station on the West Somerset Railway in 2005. The locomotive was built in 1928 and Withdrawn for Scrap in 1962. The Hall Class locomotive behind is I believe 4936 'Kinlet Hall'.
