Wrexham & Shropshire loco hauled set.

Class 67 loco, no. 67012 on one end & a DVT on the other (82305). The mark 3 coaches consist of three TSO's & a GFW.
This is set 5 in the Wrexham & Shropshire fleet, one of five sets.

Interesting colour scheme that is actually reversed on the other side of the loco.
You can buy a 00 model of 67012 although it is a "dummy" no motor or lights.
She does get about a bit, I have seen photos of her on railtour duties at Fort William!
Oh and Marcel is right, good photo Mick.

When the Chiltern Railways loco hauled stock comes out, the mark 3 coaches will have powered doors which are from a large modification programme(plug type doors similar to Irish Railways mark 3 stock).
On the subject of models, there was available for a little while, a model of 67010 which had a set of nameplates to be attached, with the name 'Charles Darwin'. This was in N-gauge & I think there was a run of 200 of them.
This loco apparently will be named something else instead, so it would be a collectors item soon.

This loco has now had the 'Wrexham & Shropsire' decals removed. The nameplate remains, for the time being.
