2-8-0T steam locomotive

GWR 5205 class 2-8-0T 5224, built at Swindon in 1924 and preserved in 1978. This class of locomotives, designed by Collet, were introduced by the Great Western Railway in 1923 to replace the '42xx' class working freight trains in the coalfields of South Wales.
