Borsig 2-2-2 replica named 'Beuth'

Photographed on 15 September 2009 in the Berlin Technical Museum.
This is a replica, built in 1913, of one of the earliest Germany locomotives, built around 1842 by Borsig in Berlin. It went into service on the Berlin-Anhaltische Eisenbahn, serving an area west of Berlin. Borsig built 71 locomotives of this design.
It has Stephenson link motion, bar frames and a tall Norris-style firebox.

Driving wheels: 1543 mm (60.75 in)
Grate area: 0.83 m2 (8.9 sq ft)
