A proper paint job.

When I first visited the KWVR in the early Seventies LMS Class 2 2-6-2T No.41241 was painted all red in a KWVR livery and looked awful. It was therefore very pleasing to see her on my next visit repainted in black and she put in a great performance up Haworth bank as I returned behind her from Keighley. April 1980.
