Maker's plate of Finnish type B1 locomotive
Photographed in the Railway Museum at Hyvinkää, Finland, on 16 May 2009.
Built in 1868 by Beyer-Peacock at the Gorton Foundry in Manchester, this, no. 9, is the oldest locomotive in the Museum. It was in service until 1926 and is the survivor of two that were imported from England.
