British Rail class 86 electric locomotive
Picture of the 86213, a BR class 86 electric locomotive on display to public in its shed.
One hundred of these locs were built in 1965-66 for use on the West Coast Mainline and to help phase out the steam locomotives that were still used in the UK. This one, the 86213 in Intercity Swallow livery is named 'Lancashire Witch', has been preserved and is in operational condition.
