Plaque to commemorate 60007's speed record

Photographed at Bewdley, Worcestershire, on the evening of 5 March 2009, just after I arrived for the Severn Valley Railway Steam Gala weekend.
This plaque can be seen to the left of picture #6246, which shows the nose of LNER Class A4 4-6-2 Sir Nigel Gresley. Of course Mallard holds the ultimate steam speed record of 126 mph.

112 mph was attained by 60007 down stoke bank, south of grantham, the site of mallard's 126 mph, during a stephenson locomotive society golden jubilee tour. 60007 might have equalled or exceeded mallard's record run had not a vigilant inspector stepped forward and prevented driver bill hoole from going any faster.

From Wikipedia:
"Sir Nigel Gresley is the holder of the post-war steam record speed of 112 mph gained on 23 May 1959 and carries a plaque to that effect. As with Mallard's record, this was descending southward from Stoke Summit, but unlike Mallard's run which was a special attempt, this was with a full train of passengers returning from an excursion to Doncaster works. The excursion exceeded 100 mph on two other occasions on the same day."
