LMS 6201 Princess Elizabeth at Dawlish
On a very wet 29th March 2008, with a rough sea running also, LMS 4-6-2 6201 Princess Elizabeth runs the gauntlet of the waves on Dawlish sea wall on the way to Kingswear.
The Paignton & Dartmouth Railway has built a special extension onto their turntable at Churston to be able to turn the Pacific. Were the extension not to work she would have to run to Plymouth to use the triangle.
