Southern Rwy Caboose X744

Long ago in America, there was a proper end to a freight train. The Caboose. Nicknames such as "hack", "waycar", "calaboose" were common terminology for the Conductors office on wheels. This is a preserved example of a bygone era in American Railroads. Southern X744 now resides in Williamson, Georgia USA. After all, this is a site about trains, not just locomotives.

I love the tail end of the train. The caboose is my favorite. .
