The train (Euston to Glasgow) name is "The Royal Scot" but the Stanier Pacific locomotive pulling it is named "City of Bradford". This was part of a batch of LMSR "Princess Coronation" Class 8P 4-6-2 engines built between 1939 and 1943. They were designed by Sir William Stanier.

Added by Peter Langsdale on 19 February 2008.
