A King being turned at Churston in 2002
Apart from the scenery one of the main attractions of the Paignton and Dartmouth Railway to rail tour operators is that it has a turntable at Churston about half way along the line.
A frequent visitor is GWR King 4-6-0 6024 King Edward 1.
On the 26th October 2002, having brought the Devonian from Birmingham, 6024 is being turned in readiness for the reurn journey.
