Ivatt designed Class 4 2-6-0 number 43106 (affectionately known as the "Flying Pig") hauls its train into Arley station on the Severn Valley Railway on 16th December 2012.
The train had arrived from Kidderminster in the platform on the left. 43106 then ran round the train and backed it out of the station (away from this viewpoint) before bringing it back into the nearside platform for the return journey to Kidderminster.
The train was one of the intensive service of Santa Specials run that day (at approx half hourly intervals (passing at the intermediate station of Bewdley). Santa's grotto was in the ex-Royal Mail coaches behind the nearside platform.
