Redfern NSW Australia

Redfern, if I have identified this properly, is an inner city suberb of Sydney.
The train is the weekly Indian Pacific so called because it does the coast to coast run from the Indian Ocean to the Pacific Ocean.
The locos are a pair of class 85 electrics accompanied, at this stage, by a pair of CLP diesels. The electrics would presumably come off when the train reached the limits of the overhead wires.

My god! what a powerfull combination! You can almost hear the whine of the Electrics accompanied by the throbbing of those big Diesels.
The whole train gives off power. Fantastic picture!
