Built in 1915 by the LNWR to an Oerlikon design for Euston-Watford services, this is a DMBTO which under the LMS became 28249, then eventually BR no. M28249M.
This was part of a 3-car EMU.
DMBTO = Driving Motor Brake Third Open.
630V third rail stock with four Oerlikon 240 hp (179 kW) traction motors.
