Type 3 Beyer Peacock (Hymek) B-B 1, 700 bhp locomotives with Bristol Siddeley/Maybach MD870 engines and hydraulic transmission, introduced in 1961. Became Class 35, 101 built, only four preserved; D7017/18/29/76.
