Sir Nigel Gresley at Birkhill

A4 Pacific 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' belches out plenty of smoke whilst awaiting the guard's whistle and green flag at Birkhill Station on the preserved Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway in Scotland. On the other end of the train is No.1 Tank engine 'Lord Roberts' (AKA Thomas the Tank Engine) , this wa so that there would be no running around the train to cut the running times down on the timetable. The station building was rescued from Monifeith.

Looks as though the carriage heating pipework could do with a few leaks sorting. What a pity the signal box isn't still there.
