Waiting their turn

Class 37s 37406 THE SALTIRE SOCIETY and 37424 ISLE OF MULL at Glasgow Queen Street in March 1991 waiting to go in front of the coaches to head the evening service to Fort William. The reason they were waiting till virtually the last moment was due to platform length and track circuit occupation at the congested station entrance.
