Old Oak Common February 1994.
26th February 1994, found this line of redundant Class 47 locomotives lined up awaiting disposal at Old oak Common depot in West London. Class 166 diesel units had taken over the Oxford and Newbury services leaving the 47's with no work.From right to left, 423,426,452,425,441,112,440,472 and 431. Class 37's 37252 and 37373 lurk in the background together with departmental DMU DB 975007 AND DB 975008. Ironically , a Class 166 heads for Paddington at the back of the view.
