Class 47 heads East past Frodingham Trent Jcn

After coming off-shed from Frodingham TMD (behind the camera) the Brush Class 47 heads East from Frodingham Trent Junction, Scunthorpe, with Trent Yard to its right and coal deliveries for the Appleby Frodingham steelwork coking plant in the distance. A murky shot on a drizzly 18 August 1980.

I was working on No 3 pilot at this time on B shift.
My old man was a Supervisor at Normanby Park sidings. Great to Trent yard just how I remembered it.
