Why Class 68 a sub class in 70's yes. Were noty all the class 56 in one class, we have to many classes of this and that going around, streamline and be done with it.

Only the demonstrator 70099 (now 70801) was assembled in Turkey, and is now to be used for crew training in November 2013 by Colas Rail, which has ordered nine of these 'Powerhaul' locomotives.
The Class 68 is an all-new design being built by Vossloh at Valencia, Spain, 15 having been ordered by Direct Rail Services. 68001 should be undergoing testing in the Czech Republic by now (December 2013). This means that 68002 will be the first to enter the UK. They should all have arrived by mid-summer 2014.
