Sulzer To The Rescue

With the limited water capacity and therefore lack of steam on ex-NCB Tank No.1 'Lord Roberts' , it was decided not to force the steam engine and the fireman called for Sulzer 27001 to break the single-line token rules and permission was given from the signalbox for the Class 27 to go upline to 'rescue' the tank , along with her carriages full of passengers.

C0-ed note - Lord Roberts was built by Neilson Read and is seen here in Thomas colours so I'm guessing this was a Thomas day.
Now would the kids be excited to have to be rescued or disappointed?
